Kjartan Magerøy Aarseth is a Norwegian music designer and composer.
In addition to composing he plays a variety of instruments, traditional & non-traditional. He uses elements from noise and Kontentum to create unique soundscapes.
Aarseth enjoys working outside of the box and relishes the challenge of creating new music for the 21st century. He addresses the issues at hand and solves them based on the concepts he wants to achieve.

Some of his ideas and projects are created by imagining movie scenes inside his head. Making music that takes the listener to an alternate universe. By doing so, he has specialized in making music that sets the mood to not only movies or images, but also sets the listener's imagination in motion using only sound.
Aarseth is a skilled and adaptable musician and sound designer with experience in leadership and teamwork, as well as working independently. He is familiar with software such as Pro Tools, Ableton Live and Cubase, but uses Logic Pro as his main DAW.
